2006 - 2024

Claudio was a goofy, kind, snuggly, and unique cat who lived a long 17 years with his owner. Claudio crossed the rainbow bridge on June 12, 2024 in his owner's loving arms due to complications from type 2 diabetes and chronic kidney disease. in 2018 Claudio was diagnosed with diabetes but continued to live a long and full life for 6 more years with insulin and dietary treatments. His diagnosis did not stop him from enjoying long hours in his backyard, soaking up the sun. most cats like to play with wand toys, but claudio liked to play with the stick side of the wand. he would play with real sticks outside too, particularly when the tip of the stick was dragged acorss the ground. Claudio loved to snuggle next to his owner's head in the morning to wake her up for breakfast time. he had a unique meow that he would employ when demanding little slurps of half and half in the morning. he often waited at the window near the driveway to see his owner arrive home so he could greet her. Claudio is survived by his life-long feline friend, sid, as well as his owner, Emma, who adopted him from a cat rescue that saved him from shelter euthanasia 17 years ago. as a white cat, claude is the 'yang' counterpart to his black cat 'yin' partner, sid. Claudio was warm, positive, active, and shined like the sun. claudio had a distinct personality and will always be remembered BY HIS FAMILY and friends.
