Bella

2026

On May 31st, 2026, Bella took her last breaths underneath a full moon. I remember the day she came home, adopted from the humane society when I was in elementary School. Her information folder was laid in front of our door as a surprise for my sister and I when we got off the bus. She was perfect. We decided on the name “Bella” from the Twilight movies- our favorite at the time. Bella was always there for me. Bella always laid on my chest when i was sad, happy, crying, angry, or just tucking in for the night. I’d always lift her front paws to make her look like a bunny and she’d settle right in. Animals have a way of showing love to you like nothing else in this world- unconditional love That makes it hurt the worst when they’re gone. I miss her so much. She was the best cat in this world. A piece of my soul left with Bella when she crossed The Rainbow Bridge that day, and I hope it keeps her safe. I know she’s still here with me. One day, we will meet again; I’ll bring a soft blanket, treats, and I’ll never have to say goodbye again. I love you, Bella. Thank you for being my rock.
