Piper
2018 - 2026
Piper gained her angel wings & left us far too soon. She was only 7 when cancer stole her future & deprived us from experiencing her golden years. Piper was stoic, spunky & incredibly brave. She was the most beautiful girl we’ve ever seen & we told her often. She loved to play & barked at other dogs on the TV.
Piper enjoyed meeting every human, especially strangers on walks. When seeing people she loved or trying to meet someone new, she’d put her ears back & lower herself to the ground. I’ve heard so many people say how they adored Piper. She left paw prints on our hearts. Piper was LOVED & spoiled, our hearts ache without her here. Piper’s favorite human was her Pawpaw & his feeling was mutual. Piper would perk up anytime she was asked to see her grandpawrents. they spoiled her & asked for visits often. Piper also adored her niece & nephew. She had a wonderful family Piper to surround her in love. She was never alone & felt love her entire life.
Piper never showed us she was in pain until the very end. We made the most painful decision of our lives & freed Piper from her pain & suffering the day she told us she was ready. Cancer can’t get her in heaven & she’s able to play all day. The sting of her loss is painful & our hearts continue to ache, but we’re blessed to know she’s at peace. We’ll love Piper forever, our bond is eternal.
Thanks to everyone who showed Piper love. She remembered you & appreciated your time to be with her. Piper has taught us so much, but most importantly to be present in life. She made us realize that what’s most important should be front of mind, regardless what we’re dealing with. When a workday ends, the joy of family begins. Piper has taught me to stress less because life can be cut short in a matter of weeks. We never know what’s around the corner, so it’s best to live fully & not sweat the small stuff. Piper lives through us & inspires us to be better each day.
Piper’s legacy lives on through the memories & stories we’ll share. Thanks to everyone who has prayed for Piper’s journey, that alone was special. Bless those who showed support, it’s the hardest time for us & we’re grateful for your condolences. Our babygirl became an angel, now she’s forever in our hearts. Run free babygirl, we love you forever!
