Bella Bettylu Warner
2010 - 2026
My heart is broken over the loss of our "Goodest girl." Bella came to us through an animal rescue organization. she was my best friend, loyal companion, running partner, deer inspector and an integral part of my family. Bella taught me so much about love, forgiveness, mindfulness and to savor the simple joys in life. A sunset, gently falling snow, seeing white-tailed deer and even the taste of buttered toast all meant more to me sharing them with Bella. While her time on Earth lasted just over 15 years, the unconditional love and loyalty she gave us forever changed our lives. I would never have been able to run marathons without her training with me (her top mileage on one run was 19 miles). she left an indelible mark on all of our lives, and she will be painfully missed. I have no doubt Bella went to heaven, for she fought the good fight, finished the race and kept the faith (2 Timothy 4:7-8). She was greeted by Jesus, who said, “Well done, good and faithful servant. You gave as I taught, showed them how to forgive and provided all the love, loyalty, protection and companionship that Darren and his family needed. Good dog!”
Enjoy PARADISE, MY girl! We will run together again.
