Copper

Copper was a goofy, grumpy Visla who loved to cuddle and loved his people more. His favorite things to do included sleeping on his spot on the couch, exploring the backyard, jumping around when his people came home, and whining when he didn't get his way. A true drama queen and also a big goob, Copper liked to be held, and could often be found snuggling underneath the sheets. His Mom and Dad were the only ones who could touch his ears. He adored McDonald's, especially french fries, and long walks with Mom in nature. After being saved from the streets at an early age, Copper provided much comfort to his people, being a silent source of support through some of the most difficult times in his family's life, and a vigilant guardian that protected the family from strangers and all harm. He taught us that no matter how ugly, annoying, inconvenient or even mean you can be, everyone deserves to be loved unconditionally, to have a home, to have a family, to be safe, and to have a second chance. His Mom and Dad will miss him terribly. Goodbye, Coppy
