In Loving Memory of Dahlia

There are some souls who leave paw prints on our hearts, and then there are souls who become part of our story. Dahlia was part of ours. dahlia was our soul cat.

For years, she was by our side through every season of life. She watched us grow from young adults into the people we are today. She saw us grow up, and was a big reason why we did. She was there for the apartments, the homes, the celebrations, the setbacks, the quiet evenings, and the days when everything felt uncertain. Through some of our hardest moments, she remained a constant source of comfort, love, and companionship.

Dahlia had a way of making a house feel like home. Her presence filled our days with familiarity and warmth. Whether she was curled up beside us, greeting us at the door, waking us up for "sink time" in the bathroom, or simply existing in the background of our daily lives, she brought a sense of peace that can never truly be replaced.

The love we shared with her was never measured in years, but in moments—countless small moments that now mean everything. The routines we took for granted, the sounds of her footsteps, the comfort of knowing she was always nearby. These are the things we find ourselves missing most.

Our hearts are broken by her loss, but we are endlessly grateful for the life we were privileged to share with her. She was more than a pet. She was family. She was our faithful companion, our comfort, our constant, and one of the greatest loves of our lives.

Thank you, Dahlia, for every cuddle, every laugh, every quiet moment, and every year you spent with us. Thank you for growing up alongside us and for helping us grow into who we are. Thank you for the constant reminder that there were more important things to life. Thank you for your spicy, spooky, attitude that we so dearly miss.

You were deeply loved every day of your life, and you will be deeply missed every day of ours. we can't imagine how we are supposed to go on without you.
