Daisy May abney

2021 - 2026

Daisy May Abney, a beloved member of the Abney family, passed away peacefully on July 31, 2026, at the age of 5. From the very beginning, Daisy was anything but ordinary. A fun-loving, energetic, three-legged little fighter, she never let anything slow her down. She faced every challenge with determination, a spunky attitude, and just the right amount of sass.
Daisy was the only girl among five brothers, and she certainly knew how to hold her own. She loved getting into trouble, sleeping, eating, playing, exploring, watching cat TV, and, most of all, being loved. She had a way of turning even the simplest moments into memories and brought a personality into the home that could never be replaced.
In January 2026, Daisy was diagnosed with FIV. From that moment on, her care became around the clock, filled with countless vet visits, medications, love, and determination. Throughout it all, Daisy continued to fight. She became a familiar and loved face at Four Loving Paws, where she made many visits and formed a special bond with her favorite people and their wonderful team. They cared for Daisy not simply as a patient, but as the special little girl she was.
Daisy was a true adventurer. She loved sitting outside, taking in the world around her, and being a little menace to the other cats. She also loved being spoiled, especially by her dad, Caleb. Whether she was getting into something she shouldn’t, finding the perfect place to sleep, demanding attention, or simply sitting nearby, Daisy had a way of making sure everyone knew she was there.
Her fur parents, Caleb and Taylor Abney, were blessed to call her theirs, and her brother Dorian will forever miss his sister. Daisy also recently made a new outdoor friend, Cheeto, who quickly became part of her little world and games.
Daisy was preceded in death by her brothers, Oscar, Mitten, Scooby, and Willie, and her mother, Phineas. We like to imagine that they were all waiting for her.
Daisy may have had four lives worth of personality packed into one little three-legged body, but she lived every moment to the fullest.
Her paw prints are forever left on the hearts of the people who loved her.
