Murphy

2015 - 2025

Baby boy, I find solace in the memories we created together—the countless smiles you put on my face from your goofy personality, the lazy afternoons spent cuddled up on the couch, and the way your tail would wag so fiercely when you saw me after even the shortest of absences. You had a way of making the simplest moments feel extraordinary. you were my therapy in the darkest moments in my life.
The house feels empty without your presence. the rest of the pack can feel it too. i miss the doodle hugs when you would bury your head into my chest, and the way you would put your big paw over my hand to hold it. my heart is broken, and the grief is unbearable without you here. everyone who met you loved you.
you were a small, frail pup that was tossed away from the amish. i saw so much more in you. you may think i saved you, but in reality, you saved me many times when i couldnt go on. thank you
I often think back to those early days when you were so timid and unsure of yourself. It was like you were waiting for someone to show you what love felt like, and I was determined to be that person. Watching you blossom into the happy, confident dog you became was one of the greatest joys of my life. You taught me resilience, patience, and the importance of living in the moment.
As I navigate this painful journey of loss, I hold onto the lessons you’ve imparted. I strive to honor your memory by being more present, cherishing each day, and extending love to others in your spirit. I know you wouldn’t want me to dwell in sadness but rather to celebrate the life we shared.
So, my sweet Murphy, thank you for being my companion, my confidant, and my source of joy. I will carry your spirit with me always. Until we meet again, my gentle giant—run free and know that you are loved beyond measure. ♥️
