NINi Geneva Jenkins

2009 - 2025

NiNi Geneva Jenkins adopted me in 2010. She was a girl of leisure, spending many sunny afternoons laying in the flowerbed. She would only sip water out of a glow in the dark halloween pail. She was an attentive Nurse when I was sick or sad. She loved being kissed on the top of her head and she smelled like Warm Bread. She would wait on the sidewalk for me to come home and would circle my chair to indicate it was bedtime. In her old age I would carry her into my closet to help me pick out my clothes for the day. She loved Her Lucky Girl bed with a heating pad on top. She never scratched the furniture or climbed around on things. She was a tiny photogenic queen. She could ring a bell on the front door to tell us she wanted outside. I shared her love with my mother and husband. We all took turns holding her in her last days. I had 15 years to love her. She will forever be missed by the small army of Humans who cared for her. She was released from this life January 19th, 2025. R.i.p.
