Sadie

2009 - 2026

💔🐾 Saying goodbye to our sweet Sadie after 17 years feels impossible.

She gave us a lifetime of love in those years — always finding her way to your lap the moment you sat down, like it was her favorite place in the world. She was our little shadow when food was involved, trying to be sneaky and steal a bite of whatever you had. And she could spend hours in the window or by the patio door, completely content watching birds and squirrels like it was her own personal TV.

Sadie was so much more than a pet — she was family, comfort, and constant companionship.

Watching her body struggle with arthritis in her legs and hips, kidney failure, and heart muscle disease has been heartbreaking. I feel selfish for taking time to process and accept the truth about how much pain she was in, but loving her also means making the hardest decision for her.

This is, without a doubt, the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do.

Our hearts are shattered, but we find comfort knowing she is no longer hurting. She will leave paw prints on our hearts forever and will never be forgotten.

We love you always, Sadie. 💔🐾
