Vivian
2024 - 2026
With heavy hearts, we said goodbye to our beloved Vivian, whose life ended far too soon. Though her time with us was much shorter than we ever imagined it would be, the impact she had on our family will last forever.
Vivian was never “just a cat.” She was a true member of our family, full of personality, quirks, attitude, affection, and a presence that was completely her own. She had a way of making herself part of the moments that mattered, whether that meant making us laugh with something ridiculous she was doing, greeting us with her familiar little “meow meow,” quietly keeping someone company, or simply being nearby when life felt especially heavy. She seemed to know when comfort was needed, and without asking for anything in return, she gave it freely.
She brought a kind of peace and companionship that is difficult to put into words. During stressful and difficult times, she could make the world feel a little less overwhelming just by being there. Those quiet moments of comfort were some of the greatest gifts she gave us, and their absence is already deeply felt.
Vivian deserved many more years than she was given, and losing her so young makes saying goodbye especially painful. Still, we are incredibly grateful for every day we had with her, every laugh, every strange little habit, every cuddle, and every memory she left behind. Her life was far too short, but it was filled with love, and she was loved more deeply than she ever could have known.
She leaves behind a family whose lives are better because she was part of them and an empty space that cannot simply be filled. Vivian will be remembered for the comfort she gave, the joy she brought, and the wonderfully unique little soul she was.
She was loved every day of her life, and she will be missed every day after it.
