There are dogs who leave paw prints, and then there are dogs like waylon, who leave entire paths of light behind them. Waylon "way way" sadly crossed the rainbow bridge on August 10, 2025.
waylon had a way of knowing when I needed comfort before I even knew it myself. Whether it was curling up beside me on hard days or dancing around the room when things were good, he was a constant reminder that love doesn’t have to be loud to be life-changing. he was loyal, protective and lovable. his favorite things to do were being with his mom, going for car rides, belly rubs and playing in the snow. Waylon survived by his mom Sara Egbert (tarrs,pa), his dad Bill Mckelvey (Scottdale,pa). His big brother Kaleb Kisow of Tarrs, pa. His grandparents Phil & Nancy Egbert of Pittsburgh his aunt Brittney husband, her dog Chico. he was preceded in death with one of his favorite humans his uncle Josh husband and many more human friends and fur friends. even in the darkest moments, waylon found a way to make me laugh. To make me feel like things would be okay. And somehow, they always were—with him by my side.
